Origin: Dresden-Pilnitz Institute for the Study of Fruit Crops, Germany (S. Fischer, H. Muravsky);
Tree: growth force is mediocre, crown is open, almost erect, suitable for growing in all areas up to 400 m above sea level, on rootstock M26 and MM106 it is possible to grow products on the fresh market, on rootstock M106 and seedlings – for landscaping and to create raw material gardens.
Pruning: requires replacement of old fruiting branches, thinning of the ovary is necessary in years with full bookmark of fruit buds;
- Flowering: Medium flowering, regular, medium or abundant flowering.
Pollination: is a good pollinator (diploid) for all Re- and other varieties. Can be pollinated by Remo, Reanda, Retina, Revena, Idared, Pinova;
- Ripening: ripens in mid-August in Dresden-Pilnitz;
Fruits: medium in size and large, round, homogeneous, skin greenish-yellow inside, red on the outside, fruits are 40-60% colored, very fragrant, sweet and sour, juicy, attractive in appearance;
Quality: juicy fruits with a delicate aroma are well suited for fresh consumption in late summer;
Yield: Medium-high, mostly regular;
Suitability for storage: not suitable for storage, only for fresh consumption;
Resistance: weakly but stably resistant to scab, weakly resistant to powdery mildew, bacterial blight and spider mite infestation, weakly susceptible to bacterial cancer;
Cold resistance: resistant to winter frosts and spring frosts;
Notes: an attractive late-summer variety, has tasty and juicy fruits and is therefore especially suitable for growing in backyards. Suitable for growing with a simplified protection system (organic production).
