    Origin: Dresden-Pilnitz Institute for the Study of Fruit Crops, Germany (S. Fischer, M. Fischer, H. Muravsky);
    Tree: growth force is weak, lateral branches are small, drooping, horizontal, suitable for growing in all areas up to 400 m above sea level, all rootstocks are suitable except M9 depending on soil conditions and product purpose (on fresh market or processing);
  • Pruning: Very small, regular renewal of fruiting branches promotes good fruit quality and allows you to create a strong and stable crown, no need to thin the ovaries;
  • Flowering: flowering period from early to medium, regular flowering every year.
    Pollination: is a good pollinator (diploid) for all Re- and other varieties. Can be pollinated by Prima, Reka, Reglindis, Retina, Reanda, James Greave, Idared, Pinova, Pilot, Golden Delicious;
    Ripening: ripens in Dresden-Pilnitz in the first half of September;
    Fruits: from medium to large, oblong-rounded, homogeneous, the skin is green inside, bright red on the outside, the color of the fruit is 60-100%, the fruit is fragrant, sweet and sour, juicy;
    Quality: Good for processing, has a stronger and more sour taste in warmer climates and can be used for fresh consumption;
    Harvest: Very high and regular, like Golden Delicious;
    Shelf life: Store until November.
    Resistance: resistant to scab, powdery mildew, bacterial cancer and bacterial blight, susceptible to moniliosis of flowers (requires spraying in the spring);
    Cold resistance: good resistance to winter frosts and damage to spring frosts;
    Notes: One of the most stable varieties among the Dresden-Pilnitz Resorts. Well suited for growing with a simplified protection system (organic production). Together with Revena is the best variety for processing.
